From its maiden issue on February 16,2009, Filipinas Herald has been embraced by the thousands of riders in Metro Manila major train systems – LRT 1 and 2, and EDSA MRT – as their main source of news and entertainment or alternative for the most-read broadsheets and tabloids.

Published Monday to Friday, Filipinas Herald is the first to use newsboys, called "Heralds", in ensuring that all copies reach the targeted audience.
